Key info about the church...

SUNDAYS

We meet at 10.30am most Sundays at Manchester High School for Girls, Grangethorpe Road, Fallowfield, Manchester, M14 6HS, close to both Platt Fields Park and the Fallowfield Campus of the University of Manchester (Owens Park).

On those Sundays when we do not meet at the school we usually meet at Kingsburn Hall, 814 Burnage Lane, Manchester, M19 1RS.  To find out where we are meeting on a particular Sunday check the calendar and click on the relevant Sunday celebration.

DIRECTIONS to the school:

Public Transport: The nearest bus stops are on Wilmslow Road and served by routes 41, 42, 43, 142 and 143.  Ask for Grangethorpe Road or Manchester High School for Girls. (The stop IDs are MANADWGM (northbound) and MANADWGJ (southbound).)  For more details of public transport go to the Transport for Greater Manchester website: www.tfgm.com

From Manchester: Head for Platt Fields Park, avoiding Oxford Road through the University of Manchester. Grangethorpe Road is on your right when heading out of central Manchester, and on your left heading in, on the section of Wilmslow Road that borders the park.

From M56 (south): Follow signs for Stockport onto M60 spur. Exit M60 Spur at Didsbury onto the A34. Keep straight on (i. e. do not bear left) at the Parrswood entertainment complex.

From M60: Exit at junction 1 and follow the signs for A5145 Didsbury.  Keep on this road until you come to a crossroads with traffic lights and a Tesco supermarket with a clock tower.  Turn right here onto the A34 Kingsway.

Continue straight on through several sets of traffic lights until you come to a small roundabout. Turn left at this roundabout, going under the railway bridge and immediately straight on at another small roundabout. Continue along this road until you come to a crossroads with traffic lights. Turn right here onto Wilmslow Road. Grangethorpe Road will be on your left shortly after the bus stop lane.

Car parking and the entrance to the school hall are at the far end of Grangethorpe Road.

There is parking available on the site.

Our offices are based in Burnage, You can see a map on our contact us page

What to expect when I visit the church

You can expect a warm welcome, great worship, an impacting preach and a friendly bunch of people gathering together to learn more about God.

Also tea, coffee and biscuits!

What happens to the kids at church?

We have a fantastic programme for the kids at church for ages 0-16.
Children stay with their parents at the start of the service as we worship (sing songs!) together for the first part of the service. The sign on the main screen will make it clear where and when children need to go to their programme. You will need to go with your children and register them.

Children can expect to have fun playing games, and learning about God in a relevant way.

Is there a dress code?
No!
Just wear something comfortable!

Will I be made to feel uncomfortable?

Not at all!

We will be welcoming, and you will not be forced to do anything you are not comfortable doing. We want you to feel right at home and enjoy the service. Do join us for a drink and snacks after the service to get to know some people from the church.
